A lighthouse standing watch on a coastal cliff

A brotherhood that helps men grow stronger for the families and communities that count on them.

We connect men across generations through mentorship, emotional wellness, life skills, leadership, and practical support throughout Dallas-Fort Worth.

Texas nonprofit corporation. Federal 501(c)(3) determination pending.

Support for the whole man, designed to strengthen the people around him.

The Beacon Brotherhood Foundation is in its founding stage. These planned focus areas reflect the work we are preparing to develop with members, advisors, partners, and the communities we intend to serve.

Mentorship & Leadership

We are building a program to pair men one on one, connecting older men with younger ones. The goal is simple. Learn to lead well at home, at work, and in the community.

Personal Enrichment

We are planning practical workshops on managing money, communicating better, and being a present father. These are the everyday skills that help a man show up for the people counting on him.

Mental & Emotional Wellness

Asking for help is a sign of strength. We are building support circles to give men a safe place to talk about stress, anxiety, and whatever they are carrying, and to pick up tools that actually help.

Career & Entrepreneurship

Steady work brings stability. We are developing support for job searches, resumes, and starting a business, so men can provide and build something that lasts.

Community Service

We are organizing ways to serve together through volunteer projects and family-friendly events. Giving back is part of becoming the kind of man others can lean on.

Brotherhood & Family

Real friendship takes time and honesty. We are planning regular gatherings and marriage workshops to help men build strong bonds and love their families well.

Men across generations who want to grow with purpose and support one another well.

The Beacon Brotherhood Foundation is an independent nonprofit, not a church program, serving adult men. Our work is grounded in the belief that personal growth becomes more powerful when it reaches marriages, families, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

Kevin J. Smith, President of Beacon Brotherhood Foundation

Strengthen the men, and the men will strengthen their families.

For years, we gave the work everything: late nights, long weekends, hours that belonged to someone else. While we served, our families carried what we set down.

Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!Psalm 133:1

Meet our leadership

Trust begins with clarity about where we are today.

The Beacon Brotherhood Foundation is a Texas nonprofit corporation with an adopted governance structure and an active board, currently awaiting its federal 501(c)(3) determination. Programs are in development, and we publish real activity as it happens.

Founding progress

  • Incorporated as a Texas nonprofit corporation
  • Adopted governing bylaws and seated an 8-member Board of Directors
  • Filed for federal 501(c)(3) recognition with the IRS (determination pending)
  • Preparing to launch our first program cohort in 2026

Our commitments

Effectiveness: We commit to formally reviewing how well our programs are working at least once every two years, and reporting the results to our board.

Use of funds: Our intent is that the large majority of both membership fees and donations go directly toward mentorship, family, and community programs. We will publish a budget once our first full year of operations is complete.
